My Blessing
My dear friend Robin came in the package of the Malin family. Their family was in middle of a long trip for the deputation ministry that are doing but they drove out of their way to see us. YEAH!!! Robin and I were able to do a little catching up and it was so good to be together. She will never know how much means to me. Thank you God for my great friend.Construction
The missionary training center where we live is in the middle of a major construction project. While this has been a noisy dirty process it is great to see the new housing going up. Our boys have not just benefited from living in the new housing but also getting to play in huge dirt piles and see real digging toys.Saturday, January 20, 2007

Abigail Christine Armstrong was born on Wednesday, January 17, 2007. She is a beautiful dark curly haired girl who weighed in at 7lbs, 7oz and 20&1/2 inches long. Mom and baby are both healthy and home from the hospital. Her brothers and dad are very proud to have the blessed buddle here. She may be a little spoiled since she hasn't had to be put down since she came home.
Abby arrived 2 days later than planned due to the Blizzard that was hitting Missouri on the weekend of January 14th. As the days were long waiting for her arrival as the ice was covering the area things were getting tense since the roads were too iced to go to the hospital. The Lord took care of all things and Abby was brought in the world happy and healthy. Parents, grandparents, brothers, aunts and uncles are very proud!
2007 Blizzard

Missouri was iced in a creative blizzard that the Lord brought to us last week. The ice became crystals of glass hanging from the trees, houses, and cars. People are buddled up and many are out of power still as the lines were snapped during the storm. Snow is still in the forcast for this weekend. We are playing games with the children inside and practicing our family time in the warmth! The children are escaping to the outside to run in little spurts.

Haha Tonka

Believe it or not that is the name of the park. We were able to visit their this fall with our kids. It is really pretty place. We hiked some of the trails with our kids including one which leads to th ruins of an old castle. It was truly a neat family outing. The boys loved being up in the mountains. It was also great to see the leaves starting to change. (not something you see to much of in Florida)
